About Willamette Valley Internet (WVI)

Willamette Valley Internet (WVI) is a full service Internet Service Provider that was formed in January 1995 by Stayton Cooperative Telephone Company (SCTC), People’s Telephone Company and Scio Mutual Telephone Association. SCTC subsequently bought out the other two partners and is sole owner of WVI today.

WVI is located in Stayton, Oregon at 475 North Second Avenue, and is within shouting distance of the SCTC Business Office, Central Office and Engineering department. The close proximity to this critical support for the WVI network and the extensive resources of SCTC has allowed WVI to become the pre-eminent supplier of high-speed broadband Internet services in the Santiam Canyon.
